Can you study nutrition online while working full time?

By Mac-Nutrition Uni July 4, 2026

MNU has designed its Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Nutrition Science for online study, with an average commitment of 6-10 hours per week, meaning it can be completed alongside full-time employment. The government regulated diploma runs over 13 months with a single annual September intake, and the self-paced structure means students can work through the 6 modules at times that fit around existing commitments, without needing to reduce hours or take a career break.

MNU has structured the course to support consistent weekly progress by releasing lectures weekly via their state-of-the-art online education platform, which are then available to the students for the remainder of the course. Learners also receive weekly presentation handouts, tests, further reading and homework tasks, which allows students to fit the qualification around work and other commitments!

The 6-10 hours suggested to commit to MNU, reflects the time required to complete the compulsory elements of MNU. Students who would like to gain even more from the course can spend many more hours, getting the utmost from MNU, by completing the non-compulsory elements that are provided including homeworks to up-skill and benefit their own businesses!

MNU students also get access to the Mac-Nutrition Mentoring Lab for the full 13 months of their studies, where they can pick up invaluable advice in relation to nutrition, business and soft skills.
